About 2 million masks are sewn in Belarus per day

04.05.2020. Vadim Lamkov, deputy chairman of the Bellegprom concern, said this on the air of the Belarus 1 television channel. According to the representative of the concern, literally in one week Belarus managed to increase production from 1 million to two million masks per day: “At the peak of the epidemiological situation, 2.3 million masks were produced per day. Now the same pace of production is maintained. In addition, the concern enterprises sew about 250 thousand protective suits per day. All enterprises of the concern of all forms of ownership participate in this, ” he said.

Vadim Lamkov emphasized: the concern fully satisfies the procurement needs. At the same time, he is ready to produce more if necessary:

- At the moment, only in the incomplete stage of work are about 10 million masks and about 3 million in warehouses. In addition, following the instructions of the Head of State, we are looking for good export options.
