During the negotiations, the parties discussed the possibility of using the port and logistics infrastructure in Constanta to promote Belarusian exports to Romania and through it to other EU states and third countries, as well as to transport Romanian exports through Belarus to the EAEU countries, including using the infrastructure Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park "Great Stone" as a junction platform of the Silk Road.
Andrei Grinkevich also visited companies located in Constanta in the spheres of industry, including transport, energy, agriculture, and discussed with their leaders the issues of establishing and developing cooperation with the Republic of Belarus.
Constanta is home to Romania's largest seaport and the second largest on the Black Sea. The second longest river in Europe (after the Volga) and the longest river in the European Union, the Danube, flows through Constanta County. Thus, Constanta is the sea gate of Romania. An additional advantage is the presence of a 1520 mm railway track, reaching the seaport in Constanta. The Constanta City Hall uses Belarusian MAZ buses as a city vehicle.
