According to him, there is no such project as BNBC in the world, because in one place there will be a full biotechnological cycle. The implementation of this project will put Belarus on a par with countries such as Japan, China, the United States and the Republic of Korea.
Director of the Department of biotechnology of BNBC Alexander bildyukevich, in turn, drew attention to the fact that BNBC is a unique project, which provides for deep processing of grain to the final stage - amino acids. In turn, the amino acid is a structural element of all proteins of the body. "We produce three amino acids-lysine, threonine, tryptophan. These are the so-called main limiting amino acids in animal husbandry. They are needed for proper balancing of feed. The lack of these amino acids leads to the fact that the growth of the animal will be worse, " he explained. If you add these amino acids to the diet in the right amount, the gain of animals will grow. BNBC believes that with the production of Belarusian amino acids and their use in domestic agriculture, meat will become cheaper and better.
Deputy Director of the Belarusian national biotechnology Corporation Nadezhda Kotkovets stressed that domestic products should be competitive, especially in export markets, and BNBC can help in this. "The image of the Belarusian product is undeniable. However, our products are expensive. Because the food does not give the return that is expected. We plan that we will build three feed mills and a plant for the production of premixes. The total production capacity for two-shift operation-550 thousand. t, subject to the development of markets for the sale of products, the capacity of feed mills will produce about 1 million tons of balanced concentrated feed, " Nadezhda Kotkovets said.
Construction on the project "Organization of high-tech agro-industrial production of full cycle for 2016-2032 years," Belarusian national biotech corporations began in the summer of 2018 in the Pukhavichy district, Minsk region. The Chinese Corporation CITIC Group acts as the General contractor and shareholder. It is planned to build a complex of 14 plants with phased commissioning. There will be organized deep processing of grain by modern methods of biotechnology to obtain essential amino acids (lysine, tryptophan, threonine) for the production of highly productive, high-tech, balanced feed and feed additives. Production is supposed to be used both for own production, and to deliver to the markets of Russia, Ukraine, EU countries, China.
