Plastic cases, reinforced with fiberglass, produced by BIT Electro LLC, are designed to reliably protect equipment from various environmental influences (humidity, high temperature, etc.). The housing design and material properties provide high resistance to vandalism and unauthorized access. The manufacturer offers a wide range of standard housing sizes, which allows the client to select the optimal housing for any circuit design. If the standard line of enclosure sizes does not contain the size required by the customer, it can be obtained by combining (connecting) individual shells with each other, both vertically and horizontally. Each standard size has an installation option, both in a mounted version and in a version with a foundation for digging into the ground (the foundation elements are also made of SMC plastic, which prevents the destruction of the foundation structure over time as a result of exposure to moisture in the ground). If the standard height of the foundation is not enough, it can be increased by adding a cable compartment to the housing structure.
The case material is SMC (Sheet "moulding" compount) plastic. PLP (Polyester sheet press material) is a compound based on styrolated unsaturated polyester resins filled with glass fiber and mineral fillers (calcium carbonate and aluminum hydroxide, pigments and catalysts).
Using SMC sheet plastic as a housing material has a number of advantages: the housing does not rust and does not require painting, it is easy to clean from paint and stickers with solvents or abrasives, it is resistant to gasoline, urea (urea), benzene, acids, the housing material is non-flammable V0 .
Due to the dielectric properties of the material, the housing does not need to be grounded, which simplifies the installation process, reduces costs and increases the electrical safety of the equipment as a whole.
The use of fiberglass makes it possible to obtain impact-resistant and elastic cases with a shell protection rating of IK 10, which prevents the appearance of dents and cracks, and the material is resistant to ultraviolet radiation. The material does not create obstacles to the transmission of radio and GSM signals when using electricity meters in ASKUE systems.
Fiberglass housings are aesthetically pleasing and durable, and have improved mechanical properties: resistance to torsion and impact. The design of the case provides for: ventilation, which prevents the formation of condensation inside the case; door opening angle - 180°; possibility of using inspection windows and control doors.
The modular design of the housings provides a number of advantages: ease of installation, without the use of special tools; possibility of replacing damaged parts; possibility of expanding previously installed structures; easy dismantling of doors and foundation covers, providing free access for maintenance personnel to any installed equipment. There are structural elements on the rear and side walls of the housing that allow equipment to be mounted on them with the possibility of positioning without violating the integrity of the housing shell.
The range of enclosures includes enclosures with cable pockets and/or foundations, depending on the purpose of use of the enclosure.
A large number of additional accessories makes it possible to simplify the design of equipment, internal panel installation and further operation as much as possible. Housings have found wide application in electrical engineering and other fields.
